Actually I am writing this post about the wrong approach towards social media , how business houses are killing their brand online by themselves ? & how you can get most out of social media I hope you are going to love my article !
Well here is what I want to say ?
As the title says be gentle don’t shout to get most out of social media !
Never ever shout and boast !
Some business houses / big companies may be some blue chips as well ! No doubt they are much successful but when it comes to social web world they sometimes face big failure in making user engagement.
They used to perform some common mistakes such like
- Shout Shout and Shout !
They used to just talk about their business just shout about their business but don’t actually bother about customers feedbacks, queries !
A common misconception in everyone’s mind ‘get a facebook page for your business it will get you more leads ‘ !
Huh creating a facebook page is not rocket science everyone got a fb page these days
Using facebook marketing , creating ads , sponsored stories, millions of likes not even makes any difference unless you are engaging with your customers be polite make some conversations with your customers which will eventually create an environment where your customers will be able to discuss their concerns, issues, needs, modifications about the product you’re offering.
- Never boast
People used to just boast about their achievements and all never ever bother about the customers feedbacks ,ideas ,suggestions .
Better answer you’re customers rather than just boasting & blabbering ! well have some conversation as well with them who knows if some of them are loving you’re product and just want to say you thank you for your awesome product so you may use that as testimonial on your site
I think the best way of market your awesome product is talking directly to your customers about your product and listen to them it will create trust and for sure they will feel like you really care about their needs!
Be Gentle create more leads
If you’re quite polite with your customers for sure you are going to create much more leads than ever doesn’t matter whether your organization is small or large this is the beauty of social media if you’re are talking to your customers in right manner .
I would like to share a great quote by
“As I am sure you know, when people say “It’s my pleasure”, they usually mean something along the lines of, “There’s nothing on Earth I would rather do less.”[...]”
So never ignore what you’re customer is asking about better to answer quiet gently as I said earlier if will feel like them you care about your customers Well I guess you got what I want to say !
Get most out of social media than ever !
Okay so I will share some ideas how you can make it more productive !
- Start business blogging
Talking about your product online with some unique ideas is called business ideas! Everyone got a blog these days. But again I would say don’t forget to engage with your readers reply to their comments.
Start talking about your product tell your readers/customers how unique, effective is your product in comparison to your competitors. It will create trust among your readers/customers about your brand/product so it will create brand worthiness. People will start buying your products as you inspired them/clear their doubts/engage with them they will trust you. When you will get success in building trust among readers about you ,you’re brand will automatically be their first preference !
- Target your audience more specifically
One of the biggest magical thing about social media is you can specifically targets your audience with any information. Well you can specify sex wise, geographical areas to target etc. so its time saving more effective and cost effective
- Monitor ROI
Have doubts about the leads you are getting through social media ! Don’t worry you may easily monitor your ROI
- Be everywhere on social web world
Don’t stick and be imprudent to single or some social media networks better to create presense on every social media network/platform if possible as your customers are actually scattered everywhere on social media so better to be everywhere
- Integrate all your social media networks
It’s a good practice to link all of your social profiles with you web log or multi poster service like hoot suit! But remember using such service too much can be dangerous ! it will be considered as spam.
In the end I would like to say social media may work like a charm for your business/venture if used in right way but without user engagement it will be nothing just useless so always try to build user engagement best of luck
